Local Law enforcement searching for missing Dallas County man

A Dallas County has been missing for almost a week.

Willie Edward Wallace Jr., 57, disappeared from his home at the 200 block of County Road 456 on June 26. No one has heard from Wallace since he left his home in Minter.

The Dallas County Sheriff Office is searching the entire county for Wallace, along with assistance from ALEA and Fire Marshal’s Office.

Dallas County Sheriff Mike Granthum said they had officers in a helicopter, 4-wheelers and horseback searching for Wallace Monday. Granthum said a crew searched for the missing man in the woods Tuesday and he wasn’t found.

The DSCO provided a description of Wallace. He’s 5-foot-9, weights 152 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.

Granthum said anyone that can help law enforcement find Wallace should call the DCSO at (334) 874-2530.
